This Blog is getting ready to perk up.

My first announcement is about the week long classes in New Hampshire at Sanborn Mills Farm.  The first week is May 30 to June 3 and is Shibori / Indigo Dyeing

The second class has been updated to a week of sewing with me as your guide. You can make a simple jacket, a top, a dress or quilt or home dec item. I have a very long history of sewing, especially garment sewing. You can use indigo dyed fabrics you made in the first class or any "special" fabric of your choice. This class will be so much fun seeing everyone's special fabric and helping each other to decide what to do.

Debbie's Sew Something Special Class

My second announcement is about a weekly quilting sew along with Moda Fabrics. It is called Block Heads 4 and is a sampler quilt sew a long with blocks designed by Moda fabric designers. I am a Block designer this year. You can find out all of the details here. The quilt along starts next week, March 23.

These are the fabrics I chose for my quilt. They are my new "Yukata" fabrics that will be shipping this spring....aka soon. They are still available to order from Moda so please tell your local fabric store or quilt shop to order them.
