Wow, where did 2022 go? December always seems to sneak up on us and now here we are. As I reflect back on the classes I've taught this year, I find that they were my greatest joy! So, I’m excited to announce two new class dates just added to my calendar. Take a look and get ready to register. Maybe Santa needs a hint for your gift this year!

I’m honored to be included in this wonderful Quilting Arts Retreat on beautiful Mackinac Island. It's a popular retreat with a reputation for filling quickly, so for 2023 they’ve moved to a larger space to accommodate more attendees. I still recommend registering early! Mackinac, with it’s ‘no cars’ policy, gorgeous views, horse drawn carriages, amazing lilacs and delicious fudge is the perfect spot for a retreat. I can hardly wait!

September 20 - 24, 2023 The Art of Shibori with Indigo
Sanborn Mills Farm is one of my favorite places to teach. It’s a beautiful setting in a historic landscape and always so peaceful and refreshing. Even though, I work hard while I'm teaching, I always leave feeling revived.

I love to share the art of Shibori Indigo Dyeing! My classes are open to all levels of dyers and full of valuable information, loads of techniques and plenty of hands-on experiences. We will set up and maintain multiple organic, natural indigo vats for our dyeing with limitless possibilities. This is not a typical indigo dyeing experience!
If you're a beginner, I'd love to introduce you to this wonderful art and if you're a more advanced dyer, I'll be ready to take you to new heights of Shibori Indigo joy. We’ll explore multiple Shibori techniques! Stitching, folding, clamping, Arashi, Itajime, Ori Nui, Katano and beyond. Technique names you've heard and wanted to learn. I’ll encourage and help you to try more than you ever thought you could do!
